1. Identity of the seller

2. Scope

These general conditions apply to all orders placed through ondisplay.be. By placing an order, the buyer accepts these conditions in full.

3. Products

All displays are handcrafted to order in our workshop. Product descriptions, dimensions, and specifications are provided as accurately as possible. Minor variations inherent to handcrafted production may occur and do not constitute a defect.

4. Pricing

All prices are displayed in euros (€) and include 21% VAT.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the delivery address. For destinations outside the EU, please contact us before ordering.

5. Orders and payment

Orders are confirmed once payment is received in full. Payment is processed securely via Squarespace Payments. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, in which case a full refund will be issued.

6. Production and delivery

Each display is built to order. Current lead time is approximately one week from order confirmation to shipment. Delivery times depend on the carrier and destination. We are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier once the order has been handed over for shipment.

7. Right of withdrawal and returns

Natural materials
Our displays are crafted from natural birch plywood. Wood is a natural material and as such may exhibit variations in grain pattern, texture, and color — both between individual cabinets and relative to product photography. These variations are inherent to the material and are part of the character of a handcrafted wooden product. They do not constitute a defect. By placing an order, the buyer acknowledges and accepts that natural material variations may be present and that such variations are not grounds for return or refund.

Standard units and sets
If you are a consumer residing in the EU, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason. To exercise this right, notify us within this period by email at gilles@ondisplay.be. You are responsible for the return shipping costs. The product must be returned in its original condition and packaging. Once we have received and inspected the return, we will refund the full order amount within 14 days.

Please note that our displays are handcrafted items. We ask that you take reasonable care when inspecting the product, as you would be permitted to do in a physical shop. Returns that show damage beyond what was necessary for inspection may result in a partial refund to reflect the reduction in value.

Custom-made displays
Custom displays — meaning displays produced to your specific requirements in terms of dimensions, finish, or configuration not available in our standard range — are exempt from the right of withdrawal under Article 16(c) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive. These orders cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged or defective.

Damaged or incorrect orders
Regardless of product type, if your order arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from what was ordered, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt at gilles@ondisplay.be with a description and photos. We will assess the situation and propose an appropriate solution, which may include repair, replacement, or refund.

9. Warranty

Our products are covered by the statutory two-year warranty under Belgian and EU consumer law, applicable to defects present at the time of delivery.

10. Liability

Our liability is limited to the value of the order placed. We are not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of our products.

11. Applicable law and disputes

These conditions are governed by Belgian law. In the event of a dispute that cannot be resolved amicably, the courts of Antwerp have jurisdiction. EU consumers may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

12. Changes to these conditions

We reserve the right to update these conditions at any time. The version published at the time of your order applies to that order.
