Each size category has a fixed number of miniatures per shelf unit — smaller models pack more tightly, larger ones need more room. We round up to the nearest full shelf unit, so no miniature gets left behind.

Every shelf unit needs a certain amount of vertical space depending on the height of the miniatures it holds, plus a little breathing room on top. We add these up across all your categories to get your total space requirement.

We compare your space requirement against our 12 display models, from the compact Single Square to the generous Triple Grand. If one display covers your needs at 60–100% capacity, we show you the best matches. If not, we look at combinations of two displays with the same height or width — so they sit neatly side by side or stacked. We keep going until we find at least one solution that fits.

We show you up to 4 options, ranked by how well they use the available space. The Best Match fills the display most efficiently. Most Room to Grow leaves the most space for future additions. Options below 60% capacity aren't shown — we'd rather not suggest a cabinet that's mostly empty.

The cabinet preview shows how your miniatures would actually be arranged: largest categories at the top, filling left to right row by row, with smaller categories flowing in underneath. It's an approximation — your actual arrangement will vary — but it gives a good sense of how the display will look.
